Most nutrition apps treat food like fuel — calories in, calories out. But the ingredients you eat have functions in your body. They lower inflammation, feed your microbiome, regulate your glucose, build muscle, calm your nervous system.
MyFudi is built around that idea. Every recipe is scored by what it does for you, not just what it weighs. And every substitution we suggest comes with the reasoning, in plain English — so over time, you don't need the app. You just know.

- MyFudi is in TestFlight beta now. We're rolling out invites in small batches while we polish the experience. Email support@myfudi.app and we'll add you to the next batch.
- What's a Fudi Score?
- A 0–100 score that ranks a recipe by what it does for your body — not just macros. It weighs anti-inflammatory density, fiber, micronutrient coverage, functional compound presence (curcumin, omega-3s, polyphenols), and absence of ultra-processed ingredients. Higher is better.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Your recipes and profile live on your device and sync privately through iCloud. Recipe text you choose to convert is sent to Anthropic's Claude API through our backend — nothing else. No analytics SDKs, no ads, no tracking. Full details in our privacy policy.
- Does it work offline?
- Browsing, cooking, and viewing your recipes — all offline. Recipe conversion, generation, and the cooking Q&A assistant require an internet connection because they call our LLM backend.
- iPad?
- Yes. The Recipes and Meal Plan tabs use NavigationSplitView on iPad, so you get a sidebar + detail layout that takes advantage of the screen. Same app, no second purchase.
- Is this medical advice?
- No. MyFudi is an educational tool. Nutrition information is sourced from USDA FoodData Central, and substitution explanations are research-informed — but nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your provider before making changes related to a medical condition.
